1)      Can you tell me more about Syres?

 

Syres was founded in 1996 in France, and our main activity is undertaking consumer tests for leading cosmetics manufacturers. We also test for household goods ( washing machine detergents & fabric softeners, dishwashing tablets, shampoos…….) but this activity is not operational yet in Singapore.

We operate across the world, with our main geographical coverage being France, Europe, the USA, Japan, and our latest addition :Singapore.

 

 

2)      Why should I enroll as a panelist?

 

As a Syres panelist, you get to try products of high-end cosmetic products that are in their “pre-launch” stage. This means that the products have undergone all clinical and dermatological tests, and the manufacturers would like to know your opinion as a consumer before officially launching them in the market.

 

Besides being able to participate in the development of these products, you are also assured that your comments as a consumer are taken seriously when you participate in our test. Moreover, being a Syres panelist means that you are part of an exclusive club to enjoy several privileges we provide. 

 

3)      What benefits will I enjoy?

 

In order to show our appreciation for your participation in the creation of our Singapore panel, you will be credited for points for every new panelist that you will have referred to us.  This reference is indicated by the new panelist as he/she enrolls.. These points, cumulated till December 2005, will be translated into shopping vouchers. On top of that, you will be in our invitation lists when we organize cocktail parties to strengthen the bond between Syres and our panelists.

 

 

4)      Will I need to buy any products?

 

You will not need to buy any products as they will be given to you for free. They will not be trial samples, and will be given to you in their actual size as they will be sold on the market.

 

5)      How am I sure that the tests are safe for me?

 

As it is a consumer test, all products have undergone thorough clinical and dermatological tests and are ready to be sold in the market. Being high-end cosmetic manufacturers, they are interested to hear your comments as a consumer before marketing the product. You are therefore assured that the product you get is as safe as what you get in the market.   

 

6)      Will I know what the brand of the product is?

 

 For the consumer test to be as objective as possible, the manufacturers do not want to influence the panelists’ opinion with the packaging or brand. At such, you will receive the products in neutral packaging. However, when the manufacturers launch the products, you will be informed about the brand and name of the product you have tested if you make a request.

 

7)      What do I have to do during the test?

 

It is necessary for you to follow the instructions of use for the product, and complete a questionnaire that will be provided to you. As your genuine comments are of utmost importance to us, we appreciate all feedback that you may have.

 

8)      What should I do if I encounter any problems during the test?

9)      When will I be called for a test?

 

Once you enroll in our panel, you will be called based on the information you declared. If you meet all the criteria set for the test, you will be selected to participate and we will contact you to see if you are available. If agreeable, we will arrange for you to pick up the product from our office and you are on your way to participating in the development of the newest product.

 

10)  How do I enroll to become a panelist?
